Note2Next ("we", "us", "our") operates the Note2Next mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app.

When you create an account, we collect: • Email address (required for login) • Full name (private, never shown to other users) • Username (public, visible to other users) • Phone number (optional, private) • Profile photo (optional, public) • Travel bio (optional, public) When you use the app, we collect: • Room notes/reviews you submit (public) • Star ratings you provide (public) • Photos you upload with reviews (public) • Hotels you search for and bookmark • Your interactions with other users' content

We use your information to: • Provide and maintain the Note2Next service • Display your public profile and notes to other users • Allow you to search for and review hotel rooms • Send you account-related communications • Improve and develop our service We do NOT: • Sell your personal data to third parties • Use your data for advertising • Track you across other apps or websites

We use the following third-party services: • Supabase — Database and authentication provider. Your account data and reviews are stored securely on Supabase servers. • Google Places API — Used to search for and verify hotel information. When you search for a hotel, your search query is sent to Google. These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

Your data has two visibility levels: Public (visible to all users): • Username, profile photo, travel bio • Room notes/reviews and ratings • Photos uploaded with reviews • Badges earned Private (visible only to you): • Full name, email address, phone number • Bookmarked hotels • Blocked users

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile settings in the app. When you delete your account, we permanently remove: • Your profile information • All notes/reviews you've submitted • All photos you've uploaded • Your ratings, badges, bookmarks, and follows • Your blocked users list This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Note2Next is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
